Hey friend,
Zero of the polynomial is a number in which we substitute the value in the polynomial to get the result 0.
Example,
p(x) = 2x-2 is a polynomial.
2x-2 = 0
2x = 2
x = 2/2
x = 1
Therefore, 1 is zero of the polynomial p(x)= 2x-2
