Answer:
ZERO WORK:The work done is said to be zero work when force and displacement are perpendicular to each other or when either force or displacement is zero.
example: When we hold an object and walk,the force acts in downward direction whereas displacement acts in forward direction.

Dear student,
Work done is zero for the following conditions;
- if a body displaces perpendicular to the direction of force then work done is zero .
- if there is no displacement then work done is zero .
- if applied force is zero then work done is zero
For example;
- a person carrying a load and moving horizontally on a platform does no work against Gravity.
- when a body moves in a circle the work done by the centripetal force is zero.
- the tension in the string of a simple pendulum is always perpendicular to its displacement so work done by tension is zero.
- a person carrying a load on his head and standing at a given place does no work.
