ZERO WORK:The work done is said to be zero work when force and displacement are perpendicular to each other or when either force or displacement is zero.

example: When we hold an object and walk,the force acts in downward direction whereas displacement acts in forward direction.

Hello friend ...☆☆☆☆☆

When do we say that the work done is zero in physics?

We can say that the work done is zero in physics ,

1.If displacement of any object is zero is given by,Work =Force×Displacement

W=F×0=0

2.If force of any object is zero is given by,

W=F×S=0×S=0

3.If force perpendicular to displacement then,Angle =90^0,W=F×S×cos angle90^0

Since,cos angle90^0=0

Therefore,W=F×S×0=0 .

Example:-(1)When we carry a luggage and move some distance then we can say work is zero in physics...
