Dr. Stephen Hawking, inspired us a lot. By his sheer will and great determination, he has proved that disability is not a stumbling block in the path of success. If one decides to do something, nothing can come between him/her 's goal.

Stephen Hawking was born on 8th January 1942. Till Hawking was 9 years old, he was not a bright student. His grades were the lowest. He was not interested in bookish knowledge. He opened clocks and radios to know how things worked. Therefore, the title, 'Einstein' was given to him.
In 1963, at the age of just 21, he suffered from a motor neuron disease which completely paralyzed his body. He spent his life on wheelchair.
But even after this, he proved the world that disability is not a punishment and it cannot block a person's aim or goal. He was the person to study about the Black Hole and the Big Bang Theory. He also wrote inspirational books for children.
Interesting Fact: To avoid boredom and loneliness. Hawking joined the Oxford Rowling team. Since he did not have a strong built, he became coxswain (a person who does not row but controls the directions in which the boat moves). Because of this quality, he became one of the most popular students in Oxford.
