Binary fission :
Binary fission is a type of asexual reproduction which includes only one parent.
In this method the nucleus of the parent body elongates and streched to divide and form 2 daughter nuclei.
Only daughter cells are formed during this process.
The organisms that follow this mode of reproduction are :
- Ameoba
- Paramoecium
- Euglena
Supplementary information :
- There are two methods of reproduction :
- Sexual
- Asexual
- Asexual reproduction happens with only one parent. Organisms like hydra , starfish , amoeba and yeast , etc. follow this way.
- Sexual reproduction consists of two parents where each of its gametes fuse to form a zygote and further an organism. Humans , dogs , cats , birds go under this mode.
