Reproduction

Explanation:

  • Reproduction is a biological process in which an organism produce younger one similar to itself. It is essential process for the continuation of their species., reduction takes place in unicellular organism as well as multicellular organism.
  • For example in unicellular organism like amoeba reproduction takes place by binary fission. By this method genetically identical daughter cells ( clones) are produced. In multicellular organism like humans male and female gametes, sperm and ova respectively fuse to a form an offspring similar to their parents.
  • There are two types of reproduction :
  • Sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction
  • Sexual reproduction:  It is a kind of multiplication that normally happens in higher life forms like vertebrates and higher spineless creatures. The posterity are created by two guardians of discrete genders (male and female). The guardians pass hereditary data to the posterity. The new creature is a blend of the two guardians as it gets half of the hereditary data or qualities from the dad and half from the mother.
  • Asexual Reproduction:  It is the sort of propagation where posterity are delivered by the single parent. It doesn't include any connection or mating between the living beings of similar species and comes up short on the gamete development, combination of gametes or zygote arrangement. Meiosis doesn't happen in agamic generation just the mitosis happens so posterity get all the hereditary data from one parent so it resembles making a clone of itself.
