they neither accept nor donateand hence no ions are formed such bonding is called covalent bonding.

Covalent bonding: the mutual sharing of electrons between atoms of elements is called covalent bonding and the bond so formed is called covalent bond.
Example: CH4
Covalent bond is formed by sharing electrons so as the elements can complete their octet be sharing electrons.
Unlike the ionic bond they do not loose or gain electrons so they do not acquire any charge.
