APJ Abdul Kalam called his childhood a secure one because he had loving and caring parents who gave love and guidance to their children and took care of their emotional and physical needs. APJ Abdul Kalam was born to a poor family which made its livelihood by boating. Still he and his siblings got all those things which were necessary. His family was a very nice family which didn't believe in social discrimination. Hence, he had a very nice and secured childhood.
