The narrator,the vetinary surgeon,Dr Herriot is a kind person who is able to understand the feelings of others and gave suitable treatment without medicines but by proper way and passion.The narrator is not rich as Mrs.Pumphrey.In the chapter,By hearing Mrs.Pumphrey's tears and sadness,he treated Tricki with great concern and in a natural way.He was very efficient in his profession.He cured Tricki out of his illness and was satisfied by mrs.pumphrey's happiness.
