What kind of a student succeeds as a Computer Science major?

How can I succeed in computer science?Hey to the Quora Community. I really need some help as I feel I'm in a dire situation. I need help getting back on track. I'm in my junior year in computer science at an fairly unknown HBCU. But I've realized that I've been living in a bubble. I starting to get the feeling that I will not be as ready as I think I will be when I graduate. I bs'd through most of math and science classes(Calc 1, 2, and Linear Algebra) to the point where I got C's and couldn't remember much past that semester. I want to really be good at my craft, but have a hard time solving some of the easiest programming/math problems on online websites. I want to push myself though to be great. Is there any resources you can provide that can help me get back on track. I need to go back and start relearning many things I should have taken seriously the first time. I'm afraid to apply to this Apple HBCU Internship because I feel I won't even measure up to the talent there, but I feel I can there, but I'm a little lost on how. Can you guys help with any words of wisdom, personal stories, and more importantly resources to gain help. I want to improve my math, problem solving, and programming skills within these next two years and make my folks proud knowing I genuinely worked had. Anything would help and be greatly appreciated.
