How are you? I am find and I hope you are doing good too. I want to share my experiences about a cultural trip that I went to the museum. There was an art fair. The theme was folk art. I was amazed to see the type of art known as the folk art and it really impressed me. Tanjore is located in the state of Tamil Nadu and is known for its classical south Indian style of painting. They use canvas, paint and wood. Kalamkari style of painitng first originated in Iran and India. They were introduced 3000 years back and were used to paint fabrics like cotton. Madhubali was a traditional art style followed in the Mithila region. This region originated in India and was traditionally created by women.
These are some of the traditional folk art forms and I also suggest you to visit the museum to know more about the art forms. I am sure this will be interesting to know about our traditional art forms.
