The changes that will take place after viral or any other infection depends on whether it is the first time or not, If it is the first time the virus or pathogen has entered the body, the body will identify the antigen(little protein spikes on top of the pathogen) and suitable antibodies for it by B-Lymphocytes and T-Lymphocytes which will cause Antigen-antibody reaction further causing death of the pathogen either by toxication or killing infected cells.
The suitable antibodies are proliferated in the body for the second encounter.
In short, Whenever our body interacts with a pathogen, it replicates the suitable antibodies for it.
