In south Africa, the native people were the blacks, and they were about 3/4 of the country's population.

However the white people had settled in the country too and had become the local rulers.

Their arose apartheid which is the racial discrimination of a certain group of people according to race .Apartheid had made segregation part of the law.

Resistance to apartheid then began from all circles in the country and some parts of the world.

Democracy was attained and some compromises were made which included:

1. The blacks urged their fellow black people to forgive the white people for the segregation.

2. They now wanted to build a country where everyone had equal rights irregardless of the tribe, gender, race or even religion.

3. The South Africa constitution then provided its citizens with the most expensive rights making their constitution the most progressive in the world.
