Explanation:

This is the story about the girls studying in the same school. A girl called Wanda Petroski is an immigrant to America. She came from a poor family. She rarely speaks to girls of her class and sits on the last bench.

A rich girl called Peggy makes fun of Wanda because she wore the same dress to school every day. Also, other girls along with Peggy laugh at Wanda because she says she has a hundred dresses in her home. Suddenly she stopped coming to school.

At that time there was a dress designing competition and Peggy was sure that she was going to win in the contest. The teacher took all the students to a hall where there were a hundred designs and all the designs were drawn by the same student, Wanda. Other students and Peggy felt ashamed of themselves of teasing Wanda but Wanda left the school forever.
