what kind of fires can effectively be put out by water? what kind of fires is it not suitable fir? give reason for both cases.​

fire causes by clothes , wood etc. can be put out by water

donot use water when petrol , diesel ,oil ,wax etc. caught fire...

also donot use water on red hot metal parts ..

and donot use water to put out the fire causes by electricity

when these things caught fire poeple usually use water to put out fire

but they float on water and easily catch more fire

so it is dangerous

we know water = hydrogen + oxygen

when water reaches red hot metals it splits to its components in the hot condition

so hydrogen burns and oxygen helps to burn

the result will be more fire or an explosion

and in the case of electricity it is the possibility to get shock
