The fringes observed when white light is used in place of monochromatic light is some colours produce bright fringe will some colours produce dark fringe.....The colour depends on the wavelength,Distance,Slits distance .The pattern observed can explained smoothly through experiment .But one couldn't actually distinguish the fringes with accuracy while you are using visible light
