When I was born my mother spent most of her days at home, wishing she could get some sleep and lying to all her friends who came to see me as a newborn and asked if everything was okay. She was exhausted, hormonal and grumpy, and somehow she felt trapped in her own house, wondering if she could ever feel normal again.
But she knew those first weeks with baby would be hard, but she didn’t know how hard. But then things changed for the better as she gradually started accepting the changes, challenges, and when that happened, everything seemed not too bad after all!
