what kind of hospitality paid by Mrs hall to the Griffin ?

Mrs hall was happy to get a customer in off season ..she welcomed him she visited his room to give him food and also offered to get his coat washed but he refused it. he was very rude to her whuch she didn't like about him. He asked mrs hall to get his luggage back from the station on which she replied that it would be brought by tommorrow morning. she wanted to be kind with him but his suspicious and rude behaviour made miss hall upset. On the arrival of his luggage he made the room very dirty by the saw and chaff of those bottle containers on which mrs hall warned him but he told her that he will pay or any damage that will occur and shut her up. she throughout the plot tried to be good and kind to him but his behaviour made things worse.

Mrs. Hall is the owner of an inn namely ‘Coach & Horses’. She is an impeccable business woman who gets to earn a good fortune when a wrapped stranger comes there to say and offers her two golden sovereigns. She is very friendly and a good host too as she offers good hospitality to him and serves sumptuous food to eat.

She remains doubtful since the very first day of his arrival about his covered face and odd habits. Her suspicion almost doubles when she observes hollow eyes of the stranger on entering his room. Her doubts turn into reality when she cuts the food supply of stranger for not paying his bills for a few days. Stranger exposes himself by taking his pink nose, bandages and napkin off. She gets too scared and even faints couple of times during the stay of stranger at her inn. Finally she manages to get rid of that devil in the end with the help of her neighbours.
