Palampur is an imaginary village which is well connected with it's neighboring village and town. Raiganj, a big village 3km away from Palampur and a small town shahpur. All weather roads connect the village to Raiganj and Shahpur. Palampur has a primary health center run by government and a private dispensary where the sick are treated. There are two primary schools and one high school.
