What kind of lessons did helen learn from nature

Helen did not have eye sight and she could not hear.  The only connection then she could have with the world is via her touching sense and smelling sense.

So she did learn from the nature as she could not learn from other people.  She felt good in the outside nature.  She learnt to  sense the air and surroundings with feel, smell and touch.

She understood that certain living things in the nature absorb minerals etc. and make them part of themselves.  Similarly, people assimilate a lot of knowledge into their brain and become more wise.
