Answer ..

Concave /Converging mirror

But why ??

Converging mirror as the name suggests, converges the Ray of light falling on its Surface to a point so that now More heat can be produced by the cooker .

Now this mirror can concentrate all the light energy from infinite areas to a single point .

Why not plane / Convex mirror ?

The plane mirror neither converges nor diverges the Ray of light , it simply reflects all the rays of light falling on its Surface . So there is no chance to use this mirror.

Similarly a Convex mirror do not have any identical focal point . So we can never expect that it will bring Rays from infinity. And it's diverging in nature.

So overall conclusion is , no other mirror can be more effective for efficient functioning of a solar cooker than a concave mirror .

Explanation:

A concave mirror is used in a solar cooker as it uses heat of the sunlight to cook food. The mirror focuses all the incident sunlight at a point. The temperature at that point increases, thereby cooking and heating the food placed at that point.
