✔️Himalayas are the old folded mountains.

=============================
✴️FORMATION OF HIMALAYA✴️
=============================
✅ according to the plate tectonics theory, a German researcher Alfred wegener found that there was only one land called Pangea and only one ocean called panthalassa.

✅ the pangea was divided into two plates. the northern plate was called Angara land and southern part called Gondwana land.

✅ the movement of the molten material below the earth crust caused the crust to break up into a number of large fragment called tectonic plate.

✅ thus, leading to the drifting of the Indo – Australian plate after being separated from the gondwana land towards north.

✅ the northward drift resulted in the collision of the plate with the much larger Eurasian plate.

✅ due to this collision the sedimentary rocks which where accumulated in the geosyncline known as the tethys where folded to form a mountain.

✅ hence, the Himalayan mountains formed.

By-elections, also spelled bye-elections, are used to fill elected offices that have become vacant between general elections. In most cases these elections occur after the incumbent dies or resigns, but they also occur when the incumbent becomes ineligible to continue in office.
