Indian Judiciary is an example ofnon-federal system. Though India has a dual polity, there is no dual system of administration of justice. The Constitution, on the other hand, established an integrated judicial system with the Supreme Court at the top and the state high courts below it.

High courts. There are 24 High Courts at the State level. Article 141 of the Constitution of India mandates that they are bound by the judgements and orders of the Supreme Courtof India by precedence. These courts have jurisdiction over a state, a union territory or a group of states and union territories.
