Answer:

The office employees were not bunch of crooks. They were kindhearted people who pitied him and understood him. They wanted to help him but they didn't know that Lencho would call them bunch of crooks. But they still helped him as he was a person who trusted God so much.

Question :- What kind of people where the post office employees? Was Lencho justified calling them 'punch of troops' ?

Answer :-

Justification of Lencho statement by calling “Bunch of crooks”:

The post office employees were people of kind hearted and genuine personalities. Upon the insisting of post master, they readily came up to donate some money to help Lencho due his innocence as he wrote letter to God to send him 100 pesos.

No it is very unjust done by Lencho to call them as the as a bunch of crooks because, they didn’t stole any money instead the entire 70 pesos given to Lencho was the money which was collected from the employees as donation.
