Michael's dad is a computer geek. He and his dad spent a complete afternoon at a computer fair. His dad was completely obsessed with computers.Nothing much is given about Michael's dad in the lesson.

All they say is he is nutty about computers. He will be the first to buy new gadgets which is released in the market. He also said that " It (computers) can never forget Michael.
