The French revolution's aftermath was a series of political turmoils that lasted in between 1789 to 1799. In the year 1791, there was an establishment of the legislative assembly that led to development power sharing between the monarchs and the revolutionaries. This led to a lot of fighting between parties that supported the monarchy and those that did not.
