• We must check expiry date of the packet or tin .
• The ingredients used for the food product must be checked.
• If the consumer is vegetarian then the packet or tin must be checked for green mark.
• we must make sure before buying the packed food that it is not adulterated.

All above precautions must be taken because if we use expired product it can cause food poisoning and other health issues.
