the green colour plastid is chloroplast. photosynthesis is the life process that occurs in chloroplast. photosynthesis is the photochemical reaction by which green plants prepare their own food using CO2, H2O in the presence of sunlight in chloroplast .
Light phase :
• it is the first phase of photosynthesis & it occurs in thyllakoid membrane .
• it utilises light energy. hence known as light dependent phase.
• it's end products are ATP, NADPH and O2.
•it occurs in three stages:
1.oxidation of chlorophyll
2.photolysis of water
3. photophosphorylation.

Dark phase :
it is the second phase of photosynthesis and occurs in stroma.
• it doesn't utilise light energy hence known as light independent phase.
• it utilizes the end products of light phase.
• H+ ions produced in photolysis process are picked up by NADP to form NADPH. H of NADPH combines with CO2 by utilising atp and ultimately produce glucose.
