Mrs. van Daan and Mrs. Frank did not share a good relationship at all, though they were in hiding together from the Nazis.
Mrs. Frank thought of Mrs. van Daan as indulgent and loud, while Mrs. van Daan thought of Mrs. Frank as uptight and strict. Both thought that their child or children were the best.
The only one who was not affected by all this was Margot, Mrs. Frank’s eldest child.

The original name of Mrs Frank is Edith Frank and the original name of Mrs van Daan is Auguste van Pels.
They don’t share a good relationship, their relationship was difficult and different. Edith thought auguste as loud and clumsy, auguste thought Edith is strict and uptight. These are given in the diary of Anne Frank.
