What kind of sign convention must be used for the calculations of spherical mirrors & lenses? As we know there are alot of disagreements & misconceptions in the case of texbooks & teachers FOR THE USAGE OF sign convention ! Some of them use what's called "New Cartesian sign convention", while others use another different way than that ! So, whats the real fact ?? You know even the teachers in YouTube disagreed this issue !!!
