Topography and climatic condition for growth of tea are:-

1.Temperature

21 to 29 degree celcius is ideal for the production of tea.High temp. is required in summer.

2.Rainfall

150-250 cm of rainfall is required.

3.Land

It required well drained soil .Stagnation of water is not at all good.Required heavy rainfall but not stagnancy of water.

4.Soil

Require fertile mountain soil mixed with lime and iron.soil should be rich in humus.
