actually no medical treatment was given to him. the narrator just totally changed his food habits,and he was encouraged to play,run like other dogs.it took a couple of days to accept the new atmosphere and habits. but soon ,he joined other dogs ,fought with them for food,and etc.. yes this helped him to recover.soon he became as energetic ,enthusiastic and active dog.
