Louis xvi finally accorded recognisation to national assembly and accepted the principle that his power would from now on be checked by the government. after that the landmark desicion was taken by the national assembly led by third estate which are as follows

On 4th august 1789, the national assembly passed a decree abolishing the feudal system of obligations and taxes.

Moreover members of first state were forced to give up their privileges.

Tithes were abolished and land owned by Church were confiscated as a result the government acquired assets worth at least 2 billion livers .
