The French revolution brings lots of changes in the status of women of France. There changes were :-

  • The women as well as men can apply for divorce.

  • The Women of France could run small business.

  • Women could marry by their own choice, no one could force them to marry.

  • The education were become compulsory for girls.

  • The Women of France used to train for jobs.

  • To express their feedback and demands the women started their own newspapers names as "The society of Revolutionary and Republican Women"

  • The women of France demanded for "right to vote". In 1946 they won the Right to vote.

  • The women got equal rights after the revolution.
