The revolutionary government introduced the right for women to divorce their husbands. It is said that the day after the decree was passed, there were massive queues of women at the offices.schooling was made cumpolsary for all girls. Fathers could no longer force them to marraige against their will. Marraige was made into a contract registered under civil law. Women could now train for jobs and choose their career almost freely.
