This is a world where some concepts are ancient, tested and proven. They glare at us in various walks of life. If you are a professional sportsman, it is said that talent is only 10 percent, 90 percent is sweat and blood. Sweat and blood is referred to the hard work one must put in. 


Factors leading to effort and strife come from within. How ambitious are you? what are the levels of success you are willing to achieve and to do that what kind of hard work are you willing to put in.


We have a buffet of goodies in front of us, it is up to us to reach out and grab them. An old Chinese proverb says,"You can take a horse to water, you cannot make it drink". A target, whatever it is, leads us to constant effort and strife. 


I will throw some light on what happens AFTER the effort and strife. There is the joy of success in , not only the eyes of others around us, but most of all in our own eyes that is a feeling which is unmatched. 


The three stages of life; eyeing the target in front of us, ambitious enough to be willing to work hard and strive towards it and lastly, enjoying the spoils of victory.
