The distance from the sun at different times of the year determines the season it would be.
for example, when the earth is closer it is summer nd when far from sun while revolution through its orbit it is winter nd the other season r intermediate nd rainy season occurs due to the huge amount of water vapour gathered during evaporation in summer.
