The Reason For Democratic Form Of Government In India Is:
We Indian's were firstly ruled by many kings for several areas and then after that there were many other European colonies that came up to us with the trade relationship but gradually they were trying to taking upper hand on ruling us and they were defeating many of our kings. European colonies came up to many Asian countries for trade purpose but they ended up ruling us for centuries together which was really a dreadful situation for us. British colony rules us from 1858 to 1947. In the year 1947 we were able to achieve our freedom after the great partition, with a lot of pressure by the Muslim League with it's leader at the time as M.A.Jhinna, with east Bengal now called as Bangladesh and Pakistan. On August 15 1947 we achieved our full freedom. We the people of India were really into that of the socialism which is actually from Russia and even we were inspired by the French revolution and even USA. In many countries the government ruling system was different example in USA the type of government is Presidential, in Russia Semi-Presidential. So, our country immediately appointed a group named Drafting committee which was elected by the constituent assembly on 29 August of 1947. This committee's head was Dr. B. R. Ambedkar who was assisted by many other members to build up our nation's constitution. In this constitution they've mentioned about the form of government we are going to follow with many other essential things that is needed by our country. Hence The constitution of our nation and people's wish to have a democratic nation led to the formation of the democratic form of government in India.
