As most of the people were depended on natural fibres such as wool (sheep), silk (silk moths) known as sericulture... Fleece etc.. They had noticed that the animals were going to extinct, even as the no.of people increased it was so hard to make both the ends meet.. This is the reason for the discovery of synthetic (artificial) fibres which were ease in maintaining.
