Answer:

Francisco Dagohoy was the man behind the longest revolt in the history of the Philippines

The rebellion led by Francisco Dagohoy was named after him and is popularly called Dagohoy Revolt.

The Dagohoy Revolt took place in the island of Bohol from 1744 to 1829, roughly 85 years

It is considered as one of the two significant revolts that happened in Bohol, Philippines, the first one was the Tamblot Revolt led by Tamblot himself.

The Dagohoy Revolt was ignited by forced labor, Spanish oppression, bandala, excessive tax collection and payment of tributes or the injustices of the Spaniards

In addition the refusal of the Jesuit priest to give a Christian burial to his brother who died in service while chasing a fugitive who went against Christianity ignited also what ignited the Dagohoy Revolt.

The revolt of 1857 suffered from a weak leadership. It was not planned and organized. There was a clear lack of unity among the rebels and there was no common purpose among them during the revolt of 1857. The revolt did not spread to all the parts of India instead it was confined to the Northern and Central India.
