Answer:

You can say that the second name of water cycle is hydrological cycle. It has basically four steps evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection.

Evaporation:

You must have noticed that when you are boiling water, you see many bubbles arise. Or the best example that I can give to you in this one is, when you are making Maggie, you put water into the pan, after a minute or two you observe that the heating of water is decreasing the amount of water. This is evaporation. When the warmth or the heat of the sun falls on the water bodies, the water gets converted into gas.

Condensation:

It is the part when the water vapour so produced by the head gets condensed or cools down and becomes a liquid form again.

Precipitation:

It is the next part of condensation where the liquid so formed by the water vapour is poured down through clouds in the form of rain, snow, etc.

Collection:

This is the step in which the water that is found on the land and other areas due to precipitation, gets collected as underground water.

So these are the lessons that can be drawn from the operation of hydrological cycle.
