Dr. Andrew Manson was horrified as he tried to restore the life of a newborn by applying hot and cold water technique.

However, the baby was motionless and lifeless, Dr. Manson accepted his defeat in the medical field despite trying to put the baby in hot and cold water and pressing its chest.

Minutes later the baby responded and started to breathe and cry. Dr. Manson was very happy and satisfied because of this.

Andrew Manson while returning home after a bad day with his girlfriend, recently,Christine saw Mr Joe Morgan . He requested him to attend  his wife as they were expecting their first baby after 20 years of marriage.

Andrew  accompanied Joe to his house where he saw that the pregnant lady was looked after by a midwife. Andrew after examining the lady took a  break as he could figure out that there was still some time left before the birth of the child. In this period Andrew’s mind started wavering in stray thoughts.

After a short break when he went back to examine the lady he found the child a still born. He was horrified and gave a glance to the mother. He could not understand whom to attend as the mother too was weak and had been unconscious. He quickly made up his mind and handed over the baby to the nurse and turned his focus on the mother . Once she was stable Andrew now started concentrating on the still born baby.

The midwife had meanwhile dumped the still child with soaked newspaper. Andrew quickly took the baby out and realised that it was a case of suffocation because of lack of oxygen and excess of carbon-dioxide in the blood. He started his treatment which included rubbing the child with a towel crushed , giving relaxation to the child`s chest with his hands and even tried out to infuse breath into the body. This gave a new ray of hope as the child started responding and Andrew was deeply satisfied by his efforts .
