Lavinia was very excited to buy the Ouija board as it was very interesting and it had come for her in a bargain... The narrator did not wanted a ouija board in his home as the ghost, Helen warned him not to allow his frnds or acquaintancs to play the ouija board ... He was nervous if helen would listen to Lavinia's sayings tht she bought a ouija board

Lavinia bought a Ouija board for her husband/narrator because she thought that it might help him to write his story, he could get a plot live from a ghost. Narrator reacted to it by denying to keep it and told her to exchange it but it was not possible as it was bought in a sale.
