Lencho is a poor farmer who is so simple hearted . He failed to think that man can be as kind as God.He had appealed directly to God for money when his crops failed by the hailstorms.He believed that only God could help him.So he write a letter to God for asking 100pesos for his family s survival for the coming year.

When he received money from post office he thought it was God. But the amount was less than he appealed.He also believed that God did not make any mistake.That made Lencho think that the post office officials had taken away remaining money.Hence he called post office employees a bunch of crooks.
