One day little Abraham Lincoln, popularly known as Abe, who later became the best American Statesman was attending a political meeting with his friend Dennis Hanks.
Both of them were dissatisfied with the speaker’s delivery of speech and Dennis thought that Abe could deliver a better speech than that of the speaker.
This motivated Abe, who already was fond of public speaking, and he stood on a good box which he discovered nearby and stood there like he was standing on a stage and delivered a speech.
His oration attracted a lot of people from the crowd and the speech is considered to be the first speech of Abraham Lincoln.
