Bramble was proud of her prodigy son, Harold. Harold was so different from ordinary

admirable. Unlike his father who was a perfect epitome of physical strength and
alacrity, Harold had shown extraordinary signs of intelligence and goodness in
his behavior. He was academically brilliant; he had already won two prizes at
the Sunday-school and a dictation and spelling prize at school.
