what made plants carry out photosynthesis while even green colour animals could not​

Plants contains chloroplasts in which chlorophyll is present nd gives them greenish colour like appearance whereas animal instead of being green colour. Do you doesn't hve chloroplasts means no chlorophyll..... Thus can't carry out photosynthesis....
