Bhimsen Joshi etc who had to leave their home in search of success in their respective fields. It was their passion which asked them to sacrifice such pleasures in order to achieve something. Just like you and me, they also loved their home and families but the desire to excel and achieve something demands a lot. As the saying goes, "Kuch paane ke liye kuch khona padta hai". So, I believe they are these little and sometimes big sacrifices that make success special and thus the people great.
