What made the human beings to search for the alternative for natural fibres?

Human being began to search for alternative for the natural fibres because :


<> They need a type of fibre which can be made easily unlike natural fibres which needs a lot of input of handwork.

<> And they also needed something cheaper.

So, nowadays man made fibres that is synthetic fibres like nylon, polythene etc... is widely used!
