Natural fibre like jute and cotton which are plant products were cumbersome job to produce.growing seeds, watering taking a long time to grow, even obtaining the fibre was a difficult task. There was a high risk of plant getting damaged or diseased.Large land area was required to grow these cotton and jute plants.
Silk fibre required well bred cocoon, large mulberry tree farm, required long time.
Fibre obtained from mountain sheep, had a problem of spreading diseases to the caretaker.
This lead to the search for the synthetic fibres.
Advantages of SYNTHETIC FIBRE OVER NATURAL:
1.Easy to produce
2.Do not require large area to grow, can be made in laboratory
3.Higher strength,less wear and tear
4.No proper maintainance required, and not at all time consuming.

a great advantage of synthetic fibers is that they are more durable than most natural fibers.in addition many synthetic fiber offer consumer friendly functions such as stretching ,waterproofing and others.compared to natural fibers many synthetic fibers are are more water resistant and stain resistain.many synthetic fibers create highly attractive fabrics. so humans are searching for the synthetic fibers than natural fibers.
